Pilot and Aircrew Aviation Art in Bronze

Created by sculptor Peter Close a series of Military figures and Aviation limited edition cold cast bronze sculptures depicting the airmen and aircrew of WW2. Each sculpture is entirely hand made by Peter in his workshop in Somerset.

Many months of painstaking work go in to creating each original bronze aircrew military figure. The task of achieving a high level of authentic detail has been made possible by the invaluable assistance of Geoff Pringle of "Oldnautibits" who acts as a technical consultant on the project and provides antique aviation clothing and equipment so that the sculptures can actually be modeled from real life as opposed to old photographs. needless to say, a huge bonus for any artist!
